Local Supplier Development - "Trading on the Right Connections"

The Local Supplier Development Project aims to help businesses create effective inter-trading relationships and to provide practical assistance to SMEs in winning private and public sector contracts.  Finding the right supplier is crucial to any successful organisation.  The Project runs across Wales and is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government so there is NO cost to the businesses.

This project can help your business by:
identifying local suppliers to suit your needs
assisting with the preparation of tender and bid documents
helping businesses to work together to access larger contracts
providing up to date information about contracts and business opportunities

Eligibility
Private sector companies in Wales with up to 249 employees which are independently owned or with an autonomous base in Wales are eligible.  Also community businesses and 'not for profit' social enterprises are also eligible for this free scheme. Please be aware that firms must satisfy the De Minimus Rule outlined below.

De Minimus State Rules
This project is subject to the De Minimus State Aid rules as it is funded by European funding.  A business which has received public funding exceeding the maximum allowed under EU rules (currently 200,000 euros with 36mths) will not be eligible for assistance.
