FREE Self Employment Taster Sessions in Neath Port Talbot

Are you thinking of becoming self employed but perhaps not sure if it is the right decision for you?  Or you may be keen to find out more about our services but you are not ready to attend our 3 day Start Up course.  If so you may like to come along to one of our popular FREE Taster Sessions.

Everyone is welcome regardless of age, background or business idea.  The Taster sessions are very relaxed and informal.  No previous business knowledge is required and there is NO obligation to start up in business. So if you decide self employment is not for you then that is fine.  We are simply here to help you to make the right choice for you.

Please be assured that no one is 'put on the spot' during these sessions and you are welcome to bring a friend.  You can ask any questions in complete confidence.

Our Taster sessions last half a day and are attended by a small group of people who are in a similar position.  Some people may be considering setting up a full time business and others may be thinking of starting part time to bring in more money or to see if the business works before they quit their jobs.

Subjects Covered
The Session looks at the advantages and disadvantages of self-employment and identifies why some businesses fail.  It will help you consider your motivation for starting a business, your personal qualities and your business skills.  You will also gain an understanding of business planning, the legal implications involved when starting a business and what support is available and how to access it.

When & Where
We run Taster sessions during the week and occasionally on Saturdays and in the evenings.  The sessions last half a day and are usually held in the afternoon.  The venue is our head office in Llandarcy near Neath.  There is ample free car parking available.
